How do you assess my child with picky eating?

We collect background about the child’s eating patterns. We do an assessment so that we can out together an individualised program for your child.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

You do not need a referral from your GP. However, we encourage all parents to discuss a feeding program with your GP or paediatrician before starting the program. Some medical issue may need to be addressed before we start the program.

How often do I need to come to the clinic?

Some children attend the clinic every week. Some children attend twice a week. Other children are seen via Skype once a month. The frequency of intervention depends on the complexity of the child’s needs.

Do you have parent training for picky eating?

There is a parent training component to every child’s program. We want your child to become an adventurous eater at home and in all environments that they eat in. We work with the parents to make sure they can manage the follow-up that needs to be dome each week at home.

IS feeding covered by private health cover, Medicare or NDIS?

Private health cove, Medicare and NDIS can cover feeding sessions. Please give us a call so we can discuss the funding options with you.
